Theresa Smith
Theresa grew up in Landisville, Pennsylvania and attended Hempfield High School. She later pursued dental assisting training at Willow Street Career and Technology Center.
With over 33 years in the dental field, Theresa brings a wealth of experience to White Rose Family Dental. Prior to joining our practice, she successfully managed a large office with multiple dentists and hygienists for over 30 years.
Theresa excels in handling patients’ dental insurance benefits, eligibility, sending and receiving dental claims, and posting payments. Her passion for helping people shines through in her interactions with patients, as she takes pride in scheduling appointments and ensuring their dental needs are met.
Outside of work, Theresa cherishes her loving family, which includes her husband and a teenage son who is pursuing higher education in college.
Shawn Hose-Ehrhart
Shawn Hose-Ehrhart was born and raised in Clear Spring, Maryland, before making York her home in 2005. A proud graduate of KTI Institute, Shawn graduated at the top of her class, earning her Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification.
Since joining White Rose Family Dental in February 2024, Shawn has played an invaluable role as an EFDA, supporting our dentists in a variety of treatments, including restorative work with composite fillings, crown and bridge procedures, extractions, and implant dentistry. She is specifically licensed in Pennsylvania to perform restorative work using tooth-colored fillings, prepare and cement temporary crowns, polish teeth, and apply sealants and fluoride treatments for children.
Shawn’s passion for patient care shines through in her daily work as she helps patients leave our office with beautiful new smiles. One of her proudest career moments came when a patient excitedly introduced her to a friend in public, proudly sharing that Shawn had crafted her beautiful front teeth—an experience Shawn cherishes as a highlight of her career.
In her spare time, Shawn enjoys birdwatching, motorcycle rides, and soaking up the sun whenever she can. With her warm personality and commitment to excellence, Shawn brings both skill and compassion to the White Rose Family Dental team.
Tracy Grandner
Tracy Grandner, a native of Scotch Plains, New Jersey, brings over 40 years of dental assisting experience to White Rose Family Dental. Tracy studied dental assisting at Union County College and holds a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) license, which she diligently renews through annual specialized courses to stay current in her field.
Since joining our team in August 2023, Tracy has proven herself to be a compassionate and dedicated assistant, especially skilled in working with patients of all ages, including children and those who experience dental anxiety. Tracy has a special talent for putting patients at ease, ensuring they feel safe and supported during every visit.
Outside of the office, Tracy is an animal lover with several beloved pets at home, and she’s always happy to share a story or two about her furry companions. Her warmth, expertise, and love for patient care make her an essential part of the White Rose Family Dental team.
Kayla Lehman
Kayla Lehman, born and raised in Lancaster County, has called York County home since 2015. She graduated from the Lancaster County Career and Technology Center with a certification in dental assisting in 2006, beginning her journey in the dental field.
As a mom of three boys, Kayla brings her nurturing personality and patience to her work, especially when caring for children. She also enjoys working with patients who have dental anxiety, as well as elderly patients, whose stories and life advice she treasures.
With experience in fast-paced dental offices, Kayla is known for her dedication to patient care. One memorable moment in her career was receiving heartfelt thanks from a patient she assisted by coming in early—a testament to her willingness to go above and beyond for those in need.
Outside of the office, Kayla loves spending time with her husband and sons, enjoying football games, hiking, and traveling. Whether at the beach or in the mountains, family adventures are her favorite pastime. Kayla’s caring demeanor and extensive experience make her a valued member of the White Rose Family Dental team.
